Great little fountain. Solar power is nice. I went and got 4 rechargeable AA that are a little better quality than what it comes with and gave them a good charge before installing. It will run all day, no issues with the solar.The manufacturer is also great. Had a little minor quality issue I brought to their attention and they had me took care of that same week. Couldn’t recommend this more.I love the design and it works fine-as long as there is FULL sun on the solar panel. Even the shadow of a leaf over a small corner will turn it off. But it looks nice in the garden & at least the birds like it.Excellent product, have had this up a running for a few months and enjoy the look and durability. Definitely needs full sun to run well, have used the battery for about 3 hours during the evening and it ran just fine. Great product and value.Love this fountain. Both my husband and I put it together in about 15 minutes. Placed the fountain in a shaded area. Thanks to the detached solar panel, we were able to do this & still enjoy the sounds of the water flow. The birds found it immediately. We have seen a squirrel or two take a drink out of the fountain too.The best part about this fountain is that it moves water from the bottom basin to the top, and then the water falls down and back into the basin.It was the perfect size for my patio. I am a 70 yr old female and I had no problems putting it together ..of course I'm a champion body builder....just kidding lol....it really was easy to assemble and I did do it by myself. Great value in my opinionInstructions say to use distilled water. I wouldn’t have ordered if the online description said this.I have only just received the fountain but so far I am disappointed, it doesn't run very long and needs along time to get charged, I might send it backSolar panel doesn't hold a charge long enough, pump off, more than on. Looks nice, but decided to buy electric pump.The weight is too light for this design. Center of gravity is high. It can easily tip over when filled with water.
