It has a zipper to connect the top and bottom. It also has left and right ties on top and bottom. The only problem is after daily wear, one tie became unattached. It had to be sewed back on, but not was then fine again. Helped make a desk at home for virtual school better for a 5 year old. My granddaughter was thrilled that it was a unicorn.My granddaughter specifically requested this item as a Christmas gift. Bought it even though a little expensive for me. My daughter had an unfortunate trampoline accident and ended up with a broken femur. She is 9 years old and absolutely hates her new wheelchair. I ordered this adorable cushion in hopes of making it more appealing and saying it did its job is an understatement. It just came in the mail today and she's already asking me if I want to go somewhere. This cushion fits her wheelchair perfectly with two tie strings on the top and two sets of ties on the bottom so it attaches securely and won't move around under her plus it is SO soft. After she sat on it she begged me to sit on it too so I could see just how soft it is. There is also a zipper in the middle that makes the two cushions detachable from each other. Not sure what the purpose of that is but I will be investigating it to find out. Absolutely thrilled with this product and would recommend to anyone! No matter what you are buying it for you can't go wrong.It’s prefect, it’s soft at the bottom and the top part is a little crinkley at the green part for some reason but soft nonetheless.
