We just received these lights - a day early too!! - and haven't fully installed them on our fence yet but the instructions are very clear and provide a measuring strip to assist with mounting. We have them sitting in the areas we plan to hang them to test the lighting. These lights give a nice solid soft white light. Enough brightness to allow for seeing around the patio area well but not so bright as to be jarring or obtrusive. The pack comes with eight lights which is a great amount for the price. We're very pleased with our purchase thus far. If our opinion changes or the lights start to falter I'll update this review. Highly recommend!Very classy solar lights. Very easy to put up!These are just as nice as in the pictures (in regards to the look) . I had previously received a nice set that I put on my deck. I really like them but the white light was not my favorite. As soon as I opened these, I knew that they were a little more classy than the previous ones. I quickly took the other ones down and put them in the garden and installed all of these on my deck. I could not wait until evening and I was not disappointed. They may be plastic but they look very eliquent to me.The installaion could not have been easier. What is unique is that they give you stick ons with the place to put the screws for mounting. I was gong to take a picture, however the video provided shows the stick ons. All you have to do is lift off the piece holding the light and turn the switch to on. Take a sticker off, put it back together and mount it to the two screws that you attached perfectly spaced via the stick on label. There are no screws to mess with to get it apart.There has been different reviews on brightness and I was wondering which were correct when I installed them. I guess the best answer is that they are not so bright that it is going to light up a large area but they are nice to light up the area where you are walking. I will try to get a pick and add to my review but I will tell you that they are not as bright and vivid as all the pictures in their ad suggests. In my opinion, those pics are not a true representation and I would hope that someone does not buy based upon those pics alone. I do not mind that they are not as bright because I was going for the look and not to light up my whole deck.Even though, in my opinion, they are not as bright as the company's pics suggest, we still love them and would definitely buy them in the future. And I might add that all of them worked as soon as I installed them.My black dog was so hard to spot at night. We installed these along our fence in less than 20 minutes and they help significantly without shining a spotlight into our neighbors windows. They are not the brightest, but they work for our needs. They do require direct sunlight to charge as we had to move them from the shaded area to the opposite fence line to get them to work.
