The shipping was fast, the product was packaged well, but I gave this product three stars for a couple of reasons... The Solar Garden Lights are made of plastic (as some are), but not a durable plastic. The lamps were very easy to put together, but the tops need to be taken off to turn the switch on & when you put the top back on, you can see that it does not sit flush onto the base. I had these staked into my lawn leading to the hot tub, and we had a very windy night. The lights did stay in the ground but 2 of the tops blew off. If they had some sort of clip to snap the tops into place I think it would be a much better product. I received the product for a rebate of purchase in exchange for my honest and unbiased review for Vine.This set of 6 solar path lights was a perfect fit for my yard. They are small profile but make a nice impact. The sides are plastic and cut outs make a floral type pattern to provide interest. There is no glass to break either, making these lightweight. I notice these are still shining until early morning so they hold a charge well.I purchased these for my little path way to my home and the light they reflected is beautiful. I chose the warm light to give it a different look. I did leave them out for 24 hours in the sunlight before I turned them on. The assemble was very easy. They are made with durable material.Not brightI was displeased with this item. The lighting is horrible. Very dim and does not shine far.I have so many pathway lights because I like how they look in my yard.These though are a bit disappointing.They do not give off very much light compared to any others I have.Much lighter than I anticipated. Will be interesting to see if they last an entire summer with storms or not.Maybe over time I might like them better but so far not impressed with how light they are and they just do not give off much on the path in the yard.Could be they need new batteries which I do have and will change them out to see if the light they give off is any brighter. Though brand new I would aspect them to have good batteries in them but who knows. It is worth a shot.Well, they aren’t quite the sturdiest of solar lights and I’ve had lots of them. They are all entirely plastic and the lid that has the solar light and the bottom that holds the stake are both very flimsy with fitting tightly back together. The light is a blue hue and it’s not bright at all. If you want something for your garden that’s whimsical these are perfect for it, but for lighting pathways or trying to illuminate it’s not the best at all. For 30+ dollars (six bucks each) I could easily find brighter and much more sturdier ones at like Menards or Walmart or Lowe’s. The photo I posted shows the solar light with fulllll sunshine during the day on the left and one of my previous solar light sets on the right.These are great, decorative accents to a pathway, but don't expect it to provide anything approaching a well-illuminated pathway from the rather low luminosity that these LEDs put out. It looks very pretty, however, and if you're only looking for "window dressing" along your path, then these are a good bet as they project a pretty pattern from each of the lights.Another down-side is that the stakes won't hold up to any appreciable compression, so don't try forcing these into the ground as you'll likely break either the plastic pole and/or the housing that it connects to - the plastic is a bit on the thin side.Beyond that, it holds up a charge fairly well and if you live in a state like Arizona, you're set.
