at this point 3.5.I haven't modified the lower feeder spouts as I did on it's bigger brother leaving the problem that Sunflower seeds do not pour into the tray wellBirds seem to not quite take to it (yet) so we'll see.IT IS built well, sturdy, easy to use (aside from afore mentioned port issues) so I still have hopeThe small birds (sparrows, finches) liked this feeder but the bigger birds (cardinals, catbirds, bluebirds) did not. RUST: It rusted terribly inside and outside - it lasted for 3 months before I had to toss it (the picture shows the rust in its beginning stages).Overall: It rusted badly, the finish warped, and the mesh bent. Plus it's not easy to clean. If you want a short-term feeder this will be ok, knowing you will have to dispose of it in 2-3 months.It is a sturdy feeder but I don’t think there is a squirrel proof but I guess they need a little snack also. Ha!Bird feeder, in shape not brand, is like one I purchased from Lowes (which is why I went in search of a second as they don’t carry them anymore) BUT this version pops apart every time I refill it. The main connection rod is not long enough to prevent the entire feeder from coming apart. It’s SUPER frustrating.This bird feeder looks great hanging in my back yard. Love it and so do the birds!Holds a lot more seed than our old one, plus they can't peck this one apart (old one was plastic). Holds up great in storms. Squirrels unfortunately have found away into it, but they always do. Unwanted seed does get stuck to the bottom of it easily, so will want to clean it out frequently.Yinns Cardinal Metal feeder attracts many small birds, is sturdy, and doesn't waste seeds. It is conveniently portable, a bit garish, but highly effective.This is easy to put together and came on time in good condition. But the design is a little wonky. It has a bar across the top so the at the lid can be screwed down after you fill it but it has a groove in the bar that fills with birdseed as you are filling making the seed go every which way. A minor thing, but it bugs me. Also the wire perches keep popping up so the birds cannot sit on them to feed. Annoying to have to go out there every morning to lock them down. And the lower holes that dump into the tray, don't dump into the tray very well. But it's sturdy and has been tested by my racoons so that's a plus. The deer didn't managed to get it down either.
